William D. Fields, Jr.

William (Bill) is the Founder and Managing Member of Wealth Development Financial Solutions, LLC dba WD Financial Solutions (WDFS). 

Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia and a Masters of Divinity degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. He holds a Series 65 registration as well as a Life Insurance & Annuity license and is a member of the Association of African American Financial Advisors. Bill has over three decades of financial and business management experience within the banking and related industries, as well as organizations within the public and private sectors.  During his professional career he has served as a Commercial Loan Credit Analyst, a Due Diligence Contractor working with various Accounting and Management Consulting firms contracted by various agencies of the Federal Government. He has also served as the Lead Budget Analyst/Section Head of the Prince George's County Department of Environmental Resources and has been a licensed professional within the financial services industry for a decade.

Bill utilizes his collective career experiences to educate his clients and community through financial literacy, money management, and financial stewardship workshops. His philosophy of educating focuses on the ultimate goal of helping families understand the importance of creating generational wealth through planning and implementation leading to building a strong financial legacy today for tomorrow's generations.  

Bill enjoys archery, tennis, golf, track and field and basketball. He also enjoys listening to many genre of music, watching theatrical performances, documentaries and a good police drama. Bill and his family currently reside in Owings, Maryland.
